The Keepers of the 72 gallon tank have continued with daily maintenance and upkeep. This encompasses daily ph and salinity tests along with temperature checks. We also make a routine effort to scrape coralline algae from the interior of the glass. The keepers also perform weekly water changes to ensure the containment of red algae along with keeping the tank clean. A total of 10 corals were propagated this month. 7 Xenia and 2 Nephthea were propagated with glue, as well as one Xenia being passively propagated. One Xenia and Nephthea were scraped from the clam's shell to be propagated. Overall, the tank is doing quiet well with low levels of red algae and now over 17+ propagated corals.
